So sorry to hear your woes Scylla. I can match it. I did a long update with snips, and managed to lose the lot.! I'll do a shortened version instead!
I loved your comment Korky, doing the Scyllaism.
Mistle was alone on the nest when I joined, but Axel soon returned for more attempted mating.
She pottered on the nest until 1032 when she flew off
returned at 10.34 and there was a lot of tooing and frooing
She was off quickly
returning four minutes later
and joined by Axel
10.42 and he is off
and returned with a sticky stick
Together
Once alone Mistle spent a long time on the campsot
12.04 Dropped down to the nest
Axel dropped down on to her, but it looked very 'flappy'
Axel flew. Mistle remains on the nest. There have been several short sharp showers, thus the blobs on the screen, the sun has come out and they are drying.

Axel has visited a couple of times, landing on her back. There has been a short very sharp shower and Mistle must have taken cover. Usually the rain doesn't show as well.
12.50 the sun came out and Misstle reappeared on the nest, she sat looking over the back of the nest and to the left. Perhaps that's were Axel sits.

scylla's phrases are always scy-nti-lla-ting
Both back at the nest, and I hear her fish calling while he mantles in the background! He flies off.
He flies back, successful mating! And flies off again.
Unfortunately, I must be off for now.
Axel returned from the right, followed by Mistle. He was mantling before she landed! Mistle is food soliciting.
Axel made his way to the left of the nest below the camera
and lifted up to drop on her back
I don't think it was successful! He flew off, to the right, and Mistle followed - are the in the tree cam?
16.40 Mistle returned and did a spot of nestorising.
Axel returned 16.41 and Mistle continued calling, while he mantled on the far side of the nest. I do which he'd stop doing that. Mistle padded his way up behind him and 16.42 he left, to the left. Mistle watched, still calling. Back again,, landing on her back. Perhaps that was a successful attempt!
Axel flies off again and she watches, lengthening her neck to get a better view.
16.55 Axel hasn't returned and she has stopped calling, but is now paying attention to her feathers! Has he gone fishing?
