FOULSHAW MOSS, & ALL LAKE DISTRICT NEST OBSERVATIONS MARCH 2021 TO END FEB 2022

I know the speed was increased but they did make off in a hurray, something must have spooked them?

I can't always get the 2nd cam......as now.......is that the same for others?

I am struggling with the Foulshaw cams this year especially on the iPad.

The actual streams are brilliant but the website loses the cams frequently - if I want to check the live cams before I stop a download (to make sure nothing crucial is going on) I go to this page, scroll down a little, and click on the limey Osprey panel - it will bring up the cams afresh.

Up to about 14:20, only a corvid visit.

Same here Jane, I have an Apple iPad which has Safari browser. Both cameras are there, when you open one, it comes and goes, then it says page has to be relocated and comes back as a black square, then you can see a lovely clear picture bit it is not live, then it works!!!...

I am having problems with Foulshaw much as everyone is saying , very frustrating , Just in a way glad it is not just me .

If anyone would like to play the cams in VLC, like we used to do with LG in particular in the old days these links should work:

You enter them into Media>OpenNetworkStream.  They'll probably drop out and have to be restarted because VLC can't re-pick-up streams automatically - years ago I asked the developers to... develop the feature, but they didn't/couldn't.

Query Kestrel on the nest just before 05:30 this morning (also seen on wide cam but even less clear):

Lovely SCYLLA I'd say Kestrel too but face patches very dark.    

I find both webcam's work alright in the morning, but later on in the day is when one of the screens drops out, I then come out and go back into the webcam page and they both come back on again.    At any time the webcams never stay on continually, they always need refreshing after several minutes.
