It is a great overhead view of the nest. Took this screenshot ages ago and forgot to post it. I am getting like SCYLLA too many plates to juggle. :-)

Yes, well put!

And I thought they'd banned me "This will not display..." msg. Had to go back Home and find the cams from there. Got them both going now, they seem to be really good streams, but not tested with big birds flying around yet.
Not the birds that we want to see - but any excuse to christen the nest, video-wise ;)
And I forgot all about Cam#1, it was a good view and you could see birds underneath the nest on that one *sigh*.
IR still not working.
It seems one needs to go back to the "watch wildlife" osprey cam link if one gets this:
The cams are actually streaming fine:
Up to lunchtime there were 3 single crow visits, no pottering done tho. Going thru the 7+ hour clips brought it home how easy it will be to miss a quick on/off, even by a very big bird, so in future I shall have to divide into maybe 1-hour sections
Quite breezy, and the wind carried off one of the clumps dislodged by a crow yeterday - a demo of how that extra-wide view should be super this season:
16:46 - Still pilfering:
It pays to be observant, stops one making silly observations, eg: "the IR isn't working still":
QUOTE CWT: The night vision on the cameras is currently switched off. Once the ospreys are back and settled on the nest we will turn it back on.
I think these deer were mentioned last year but I can't remember what they are, and can't find "our local wildlife" on the CWT website.
They appeared from the far distance, wandered in, suddenly ran (well, this is 4x speed) out of view - either away from something or towards something:
Nothing more to report up to 16:30.
