That's the remnants of the web on your snap, Mary - it had been like this earlier but was starting to break up:
We haven't seen our Robin yet this season.
IMAGICAT
Spider turned up last evening and completely cleared away the web:
It stayed clear until the end of my clip @ 02:55.
Web all gone this morning - its crystal clear now!
A Barn Owl? visited last night. Maybe someone will confirm.
Not been many visits to the nest this season, but there was a Great Spotted Woodpecker on it @ 10.06
There was a Bullfinch on the nest too at 10.39
Thanks Mary, I missed the Bullfinch but got the Barn Owl and the Woodpecker. Not long now before the real residents return!
Today's third visitor to the nest. Barn Owl 01.40; Woodpecker 10.06; Bullfinch 10.39
