LINDY Glad your OH is so much better and looking forward to a glass of wine tomorrow.

i couldn't think whether it was Ann or Anne. The room certainly looks cosy.

P Anne's room looks,just like the rooms that I've seen in homes of aristocracy ( OH worked for them and we were invited to various family happenings). A new kitchen? why? it's a functional room and if it works, it's fine. Threadbare carpets and chairs? No problem. Freezing cold? Just put on a jacket. And so on and so forth !

LOL Heather. My limited experience of the wealthy bears that out. Especially if they live in the country.

My OH is looking much better, which is a relief. We have had snow on and off this morning, but only big white fluffy flakes which melt immediately on contact with the ground. I see it's been bad enough to block the roads in places.

Heather:  Gosh, if those are signs of aristocracy, I must be related.

I harvested 6 tomatoes, buried veggie scraps, spent 5 mins weeding and I was tired. Slept for 1½ hours and woke – tired. I know I am being unreasonable too soon, but I am fed up with feeling tired. End of whining.

AQ: Hang in there dearie; it will get better (but in the meantime, feel free to whine to us). :-)

AQ: Just read, rest, and recover. Find a really riveting book and don't worry about anything that isn't absolutely critical. I know you'll heal and be as good as new soon. You're tough!
