WEEKLY CHAT (NON-OSPREY) SUNDAY DECEMBER 27, 2020

  • Good Morning, AQ and Everyone.

A shock to see snow when it was only forecast for "in the hills" (which we dont have, here)
  • The sun trying to come up but not really coping with the cloud cover.

  • Bonnie exploring the garden. This is view from our kitchen window.

  • It's cold here but we are amateurs compared to what our Ontario family have to deal with in winter - not forgetting DIANE...
A skiff of snow here and icy, so I've been banned from stepping outside! It's very strange when your children speak to you in the same way that you used to say to them ' don't do this, be careful of that '.
  • Just saw your latest pics, LINDY. Wonder what Bonnie thinks of it !!!
  • LOL, Heather! I know what you mean.

It's already melting here, because it's gone up to one degree. For some reason, my OH went out into the street to build a snowman "for the children next door".
No picture of it, because I'm still in my nightie!
  • Apparently, when on their walk, Bonnie cavorted about being "silly!"
  • That's so sweet of your OH, LINDY !
I'm still in my pyjamas, it seems to be socially acceptable these days - my mother would not approve... I've read that lots of folk working from home have a shower and then clean PJs or leisure wear. I am increasing my supplies of leisure wear....
  • AQ - We haven't had real snow, but nasty sleety rainy white stuff. And I think we're in for more. I have never been taught to type so my fingering is probably all wrong. But I still type faster and more accurately than most people. Must be in the genes - my mother was famous in her company for breaking two of the first electric 'golf ball' typewriters because she typed faster than they could cope with! I taught myself on the kitchen table on a tiny portable typewriter which slipped and slid all over the table ... and I still managed to be fast and accurate. I guess with a start like that, everything else was easier!

Happy Bank Holiday Monday, everyone. Wonder if anyone will be going shopping to snap up all the sale bargains?!?!?
  • PAT et al - I am a one finger typist as the kindle is held in my right hand ! On the PC it is two finger typing! My OH was a touch typist. He did evening classes when he was an articled clerk. I'm not sure why he thought it was necessary but his fingers just flew over the keyboard and he rarely made mistakes. I was very envious!
