Weekly Chat (Non-Osprey), 20 December 2020

I was going to write all sorts of things, but time has caught up with me.

I hope everyone has the day they would wish for, present circumstances permitting, of course. You are all in my thoughts.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS. 

Wishing everyone here - posters and lurkers - as happy a Christmas as possible consistent with all the restrictions. It's only a date on the calendar ... which isn't always easy to remember. My family and I are hoping to have our Christmas in February/March, so I'm looking forward to that. And my lovely lamb shank tomorrow. Who knows? I might even eat last year's Christmas pudding at some stage in the next few days! I'm just about to enjoy the Midnight Communion service from Central Hall ... that should send me floating to bed, and remind me that Christmas begins with Christ ...

Sunny day here, 21 C mid morning, expecting 29 C. Turkey roll & veggies in oven. Church was via online streaming service.
