The phone rang as we were eating tonight, and my OH was told that he has another funeral to go to, on Friday. The lovely elderly gentleman who watered our greenhouse for us, at the allotment, when we were away on holidays, has taken ill with pneumonia and died. What a shame.

Couldn't get onto this thread at two attempts (morning and evening) yesterday. Today we got very busy reviewing kitchen order (some mistakes, some changes, some special requests so OH has appt at showroom on Sunday). Then we made sticky toffee pudding to freeze, and I actually got started on writing in the Christmas cards! Now getting late.

Thinking of AQ - probably in theatre right now! Hope you get home as early as expected - but take care!

Lindybird: Good grief! I bet your OH is scared to pick up the phone anymore.

Went to first organized yoga class in a while at the Y this morning (outdoors on the patio). My legs are still wondering what hit them.

Thank you ALL for your thoughts, etc. All went well, discharged 2.30 pm, rode home in Dau's new car. Since then I have been relaxing & reading on lounge. I shall take it very slowly next week, just in case. There is a stack of books waiting. . . OH ready to open can of tomato soup for tea, maybe I should recover much more slowly, like 6 months?
