Morning/evening all: Off to catch up on today's posts.

  • Thanks, Brenda, for copying website explanation.

Good morning Dibnlib - you posted while I was still compiling - no, I really cannot imagine you in yellow!

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

  • Good morning all and just catching up quickly as I am waiting for Rhys to arrive and have had to make everything "Rhys proof" as per my sister's instructions as he is into everything now and just about walking.  Hope I remember where I have put everything when he has left.  Had to nip into town early this morning to get a few bits and it is freezing and going to get even colder I believe.

Wanted to see if Lindybird  had any news yet.  We are all on tenterhooks for her.

Will have to go now but will probably not be on again until tomorrow evening as it is Xmas shopping day tomorrow.  OH is away tomorrow night in London.  Going to a gig which is one I don't go to as I can't stand "The Fall".  Will have more time to have a good read of everything.  Have a good day all.

Those link regarding the ospreys catching crab and double fish were from Texas. I had not ever heard of Texas ospreys before. I did a seach and came up with this. Some very nice picture in that link.

Wonderful pics Tiger. They used some pretty wonderful camera equipment too. Canon of course! :)

Those very pale headed ones, 3rd and 4th down taken in Florida, look like the eastern ospreys of Australia, Pandion Cristatus. So different from the other American ospreys.

Morning ALL have been having intermittent connection problems this morning but, fingers crossed, it seems ok now. Have a good day.

  • morning all and happy Monday. Tried to catch up yesterday but had the same trouble as a number of others, in that I couldn't get in:( Hope everyone's OK ish:)

Off to try and look back. My only excitement recently was having a puncture while towing the horse trailer, with horse in it! Very scary and tricky to change the wheel. Luckily, we managed to get to a church parking lot, where there were lights and plenty of room. Lots of people offered to help which was great and Lida was petted to within an inch of her life! lol Oh, and having a snow plough put on my tractor, which is exciting to me (which sounds very sad as I read back what I type!)

  • Afternoon All,just thought that you might like this i took it last month but only just got around to uploading it to computer

  • Annette, love the rose avatar:)

Linda, hope Sweatpea arrives soon, for all concerned:)

Enjoyed catching up on all the chat etc.

Dibnlib, how are you doing at the moment? feeling a little more comfortable?

  • Quick look in while I wait for OH to return with local milk & veg shopping.  Just seen forecast says we will have a rain shower – guess that means a dry day, then, since dry meant showers!

Margo – enjoy your time with Rhys.  I never did put stuff away for children or G’children – decided they should learn to behave and that “No” means “No”, and that I should not get precious about “things” if they did get broken – which they never did.  Enjoy shopping day tomorrow, too.

Gary – punctures while towing are nasty – had one with caravan on M6 once – but worse with live horse on board.  Pleased you found safe place to stop, and willing helpers as well as people to pet  Lida!

Alicat – great Swan photo.  How is Casper these days?

Here is one of my Saturday photos – didn’t notice the colour on the trees until I saw it on screen!

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
