Driving in.

Young deer grazing: there are about 200 red deer here, and most of them seemed to have gathered together today.

This chap was photographing them, but he's not as near as it appears here - he was careful not to disturb them. We stayed far back, as Bonnie might have got too near, and we walked away after taking these pics with the zoom on the camera.

There  were some really big stags but don't think you can see them here,   sadly.

I opened the page and was so thrilled to be driving into Tatton Park and seeing all the deer! Thank you LINDA.

I just had a very brief look back and noted that AQ is home. That was a close call for getting surgery done before your lockdown - and a convenient time since you can't go out anyway! I hope you will continue your recovery well.

Sorry about my rambling post yesterday - I was really fed up and probably should not have tried to write at all. The absence of real people in the NHS is really annoying me now, but at least J is having some real appointments now - Edinburgh Friday and both Eye Clinic and Thyroid surgeon in December in Dumfries. My private Podiatrist is coming to see me tomorrow to go through the exercises I can do, and to tape my foot . It's nice being told to rest, but really I have no choice. I have decided not to look further back in the thread to try to write replies.

We baked shortbread and Bakewell slices this morning - yummy. Also ordered some pans for induction hob as that is what we are changing to in the new kitchen. Some of our most recent ones are suitable, but our main saucepan set and wok were all older. I found a good deal at ProCook.

We spent time watching the Robin and Dunnock agreeing to disagree today - previous two days had been enjoying the very busy wee Woodmouse.

OG My problem seems to be with the poreneal tendon. I have had phone consultations with both the physio and podiatrist and so do exercises 2 times daily, though have cut out some of them as they don't agree with my knee (osteo arthritis). Other than that I take paracetamol 4 times a day (Ibuprofen doesn't agree with me) and also recommended ice packs. Yes, rest is recommended so am sticking to only one walk a day. It appears this is going to take a good long while to show much improvement. Hope you get some help.
