Hi, it was a day of misery for the two chicks. With EJ gone and it looks like Odin has gone too, there were no deliveries of fish yesterday.
Nature is playing its part. It is time the two juves went fishing for themselves or else start on their migratory journey. Odin has obviously felt it is time to kick start these two into foraging for themselves. If confirmed he is gone by the LG team it will be about the same time as last year.
The weather sounds foul at LG at the moment so hope they are sheltering safely somewhere.
Only time and a new day will tell us what is happening.
Over to the early morning team and thanks to all of you in California, Australia, Finland, and elsewhere for keeping us updated.

Now mantling together - have they seen something?
Lovely photos Lindybird.
Thanks Sheila - not difficult, I just keep pressing buttons! Need lots of pics so that we can help with the ID problems, but I'm darned if I know which is which half the time these days.
-- now one has flown off again.....
ID???!! I think Titch has flown off, leaving Quackers doing a bit of preening and looking around. Has she spotted something, the heard it doing a 90 degree turn.
Thanks for the pics Lindybird when are they going to realise that no fish are going to be delivered. I really thought they may have got the message now.
Margobird
Chirruping, sounding like Odin, but Quackers isn't too impressed. Sitting on a convenient branch on the nest she is being blown around a bit. I can now hear the wind - but I have turned the sound up to hear distant calls. The chirrup is still audible.
Loud call for food as Titch returns to the nest. Volume back down!
