Hi folks,
Wasn't around for most of the day but found out I hadn't missed much. Just two hungry osps waiting all day for a meal which never came. Thanks to you all for your posts and pics yesterday.
It looks increasingly likely that EJ has begun her migration as she has not been seen since early on Saturday morning according to official sources.
Time is running out for us all for this year, I wonder how many more days before Odin leaves and then the juves will have to go if they are to survive and learn to fish on their way to fresh pastures new....sighhhhhhhhhh
Over to the early morning crew - keep us going. Night, Night.

Let me heartily second that!
morning all
Thanks for all the captures/updates. Very quiet at the moment
Tiger, as always, thanks for all the facts and figures. Incredible to think last year one of them stayed 5 days after the last fish. Just goes to show how long they can last without eating.
Does seem Odin may have gone as well. A couple of people on the FB side are going to the center today so if I get any news I'll pass it on.
Good mrning Gary as you say it does look as though Odin may have departed. It does seem they can go a while without fish but I suppose it will be hunger that will prompt them to try and catch a fish.

I also echo Cirrus' wishes for all ospeys.
Well, as its very quiet, I'll sign off and look in again this afternoon.
morning Margobird.
I trust these birds are doing what "comes naturally" and they "know" what there're doing:)
Still EN
I am am sureyou are right Gary but being a young osprey is definitely tough. I am convinced they will try to fish as hunger will certainly ensure that the natural instinct kicks in soon.
Gary Personally I think it is likely that Odin has gone.
Yes it is great looking back at past events and work out how they relate to the situation in hand.
I think it is possible that only did Deshar stay around for over 5 days he may not have eaten for another five as he flew down to Kent.
It is great to look back at the blog and comments at the time and wonder where some of the bloggers have got to.

How eerie the silence after all the shrieks and activity this morning.
Have they finally gone fishing?
