Hi folks,
Wasn't around for most of the day but found out I hadn't missed much. Just two hungry osps waiting all day for a meal which never came. Thanks to you all for your posts and pics yesterday.
It looks increasingly likely that EJ has begun her migration as she has not been seen since early on Saturday morning according to official sources.
Time is running out for us all for this year, I wonder how many more days before Odin leaves and then the juves will have to go if they are to survive and learn to fish on their way to fresh pastures new....sighhhhhhhhhh
Over to the early morning crew - keep us going. Night, Night.

LOL That is brilliant, Chloe. :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Chloe, that's really brilliant.
I've been sorting dinner, and then all of us eating it for the last few hours, so couldn't reply to your post earlier.
All you photographic-literate posters are so clever. I'm sure I voice the opinions of many of us in congratulating you all. Tiger and Diane especially for your magical picture taken a few mornings ago. But you, Cirrus, Lynette, Joan, Lindybird, Chloe, Alan, Gary, et al - [I'm sure I've missed some of you out and for that humble apologies] are very talented and help us all appreciate more what has been going on whilst we have been away from our computer.
Apart from a quick glance this morning, I have only just had the chance to catch up with all your emotional and amusing comments and photographs. Thank you.
As I write the two Gems are on the nest calling.

Hi Diane I know what you say is true about our youngsters but it has been quite upsetting today watching them. Miserable weather. no fish and looking so dejected. they were both on the nest when I logged in but I see they have both left again after a fruitless wait. They do indeed have good genes and I am sure the survival instinct will kick in shortly.

ChloeB thanks for the pic with caption, just what I need after feeling so sad for them today. It is a hard time for them at the moment but I am sure they will realise what they have to do eventually, hunger will force them to go fishing I would think.
Thanks for the bit of light relief Heron 77 I have not enjoyed watching our two youngsters trying to come to terms with the fact that there is not going to be a fish delivery. They were both on the nest when I first logged but have left again now.
Cirrus it has been such a sad today watching our two youngsters crying out for food which is not going to be delivered as I feel now that Odin has left. Just got to hope that in the very near future hunger will make them go looking for a meal, might take several tries but I am sure they will be successful in the end.
