Hi folks,
Wasn't around for most of the day but found out I hadn't missed much. Just two hungry osps waiting all day for a meal which never came. Thanks to you all for your posts and pics yesterday.
It looks increasingly likely that EJ has begun her migration as she has not been seen since early on Saturday morning according to official sources.
Time is running out for us all for this year, I wonder how many more days before Odin leaves and then the juves will have to go if they are to survive and learn to fish on their way to fresh pastures new....sighhhhhhhhhh
Over to the early morning crew - keep us going. Night, Night.

So it is now just 51 hours since the last fish was delivered. This is the point where Mallachie realised the free lunch was a thing of the past!
Have C2 and C3 done the same?

Lets hope you get some respons for the bloggers of 2008.
Oh dear ... just looked in to see what has been happening .... nothing. I hope they have got the message and gone fishing, or started their migration, because it really looks as if both EJ and Odin have gone.
And of course as I type this, I can hear an osprey screeching in the background!!!

Or are they still around, Chirruping going on in the background.
Hazel b said: Gary Personally I think it is likely that Odin has gone. Yes it is great looking back at past events and work out how they relate to the situation in hand. I think it is possible that only did Deshar stay around for over 5 days he may not have eaten for another five as he flew down to Kent. It is great to look back at the blog and comments at the time and wonder where some of the bloggers have got to. I think Odini has gone too Tiger. I was wondering where I was looking at your link !! then remembered I was only a 'viewer' not a 'poster' although I put Nethy and Deshar into Google Earth. I had only just 'discovered' the site late that year . So, 2009 was my first FULL year and here I am again.
One shrieking GEM lands on the nest ... another in the background!

Tow GEM's one on nest one off and sounds a bit like an intruder alert. Part of me is wishing they would set off on their journey and learn to fish.

There are still two osprey - one Juve on the nest, and one in nearby tree, shouting....
Just on comp and heard an awfy noise and so good to know that 2 chicks are still here. My what a noise but will miss it sorely when it goes!¬!
