Oh my, everyone must be busy tonight - I know I've been. Only getting green screen right now - ???
I was imagining, this morning, how the Eldest Chick would now be winging its way South, with a determined look in that wonderfully eager eye..... Good Luck, Strong One....
You really miss them not being tracked and knowing exactly where they are! Such a shame it couldn't be done this year.
GEM arrived, started calling, then vanished as I was taking this pic.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Thanks, Heron. Its been very quiet today really....
Another update from Caroline on the diary page - still no EJ.
Thanks, Sandy.
Thanks for the heads up, Sandy. I think if we don't see EJ tommorow morning, we can assume she's on her way to Africa now.
Been out all day so just catching up. Thanks for updates, pics, and clips from everyone.
One of the chicks was sitting on the nest briefly this morning, if you look back to pg 3 I think, I posted a pic of it, as I was posting it stood up again and started screeching with its sibling off stage.
It definitely looks as though EJ may have started her migration then? There is a chick offstage chirrping from time to time but from the updates it looks increasingly as though Odin is trying to force their hand!

If we don't see EJ all next week she is definitely gone :)
ChloeB & Tiger's Osprey Data
LOL Chloe!
Just checking back and not much going on, apart from plenty of calling. I knew EJ was/is due to go any time now but still sad to see her depart.
