Good Morning all,
Yesterday had some interesting goings on. Delivery in the morning and a delivery in the early evening which resulted in an eventual takeover by the chick who lost out when EJ delivered round about 5pm This chick then kept eyeing his sibling up and eventually grasped the fish that was left and flew off with it., leaving the first winner of the fish contest to wonder what had happened. It was all very amusing and also a privelege to watch what can go on between siblings in the wild.
The evening ended with the usual ENS
Over to the early morning shift and keep those anecdotes and scintillating commentaries coming for us over here as we love to catch up in the mornings, of what has been going on early morning. BTW what absolutely gorgeous photos of the early morning at LG yesterday. Congrats to those that posted, really atmospheric.
Over to you!!!

Morning Cirrus Are you sure you don't live near me? Your description sounds like our morning conditions, right down to the collared doves. I call them 'football supporters' as they always seem to be shouting for 'United'!
One Gem calling offstage
I'm in Bristol Patriciat - I know Margo's in Poole - where are you then?
Song bird 'wittering' ''off'' somewhere - don't recognise his call but yes, there are Ospreys in the distance.
EDIT I think this charming conversationalist must be Youngest. Middle juve being somewhat hoarse sounds rather duck like , as Shiela observed ( at the moment at least)
Morning all and thanks for the amusing morning reports and great pics. EN at the moment. Lots of reports of osprey sightings coming in from all over the country including 4 at Poole harbour yesterday in the Wareham Channel. Also lots of movement on the migration routes through France.
Morning Alan - can't be long now then. Does this weather encourage Ospreys to go or stay until it's fairer weather?

FB reports that EJ has been seen - so that's good news. But FB also says the sun is coming out ! Where aren't I looking.
At least the sun's making a better effort at LG than it is in Greater Glasgow and many other places.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
OK, I see the blue sky Heron :)

Is this where you are Heron? Greater Glasgow ? Does that mean on the outside ?
Morning Alan. Thanks for the Osprey sightings summary. It looks positively summer like at LG just now. I'll keep shtoom on the LG weather now, for fear of tempting fate.Paul
