Good Morning all,
Yesterday had some interesting goings on. Delivery in the morning and a delivery in the early evening which resulted in an eventual takeover by the chick who lost out when EJ delivered round about 5pm This chick then kept eyeing his sibling up and eventually grasped the fish that was left and flew off with it., leaving the first winner of the fish contest to wonder what had happened. It was all very amusing and also a privelege to watch what can go on between siblings in the wild.
The evening ended with the usual ENS
Over to the early morning shift and keep those anecdotes and scintillating commentaries coming for us over here as we love to catch up in the mornings, of what has been going on early morning. BTW what absolutely gorgeous photos of the early morning at LG yesterday. Congrats to those that posted, really atmospheric.
Over to you!!!

Morning patriciat, Brenda H, and Linda.
I would've said good morning in my last post but my typing speed's about as fast at the trout that has "Ospreys eat half price on Fridays" stamped on its tail fin.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
Has somebody chucked some of Odin's logs out of the nest? It doesn't actually look tidy, but it looks less strewn with woodwork!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Morning Paul. Wet socks and half price trout ! I have just opened the windows to get rid of the smell.
Two ospreys shrieking but not on the nest.
A small visitor
OMG. There has been so much rain, one of the Gems has shrunk !!
Sorry Cirrus, Thanks for the Pic.
Like Joan I'm off to the hairdresser - it's called 'My Bathroom' :) so I can least hear any action
EDIT oh Brenda - ha ha ha 'LG I've shrunk the Osps''
HiMorning OG. Don't think Odin's logs have been chucked out, just that there's been a tidy up.Thanks for the small visitor pic, Cirrus.Brenda. LOL :-) I guess that's just the magical power of Abernethy Rain.Paul.
Wet socks & damp trout? Ugh!
Hi folks, logged on to an , yes you can guess, an empty nest. Sunlight was trying to penetrate a moment ago but its gone behind a cloud.
Thanks for the witty commentaries and for the pics of fish arrival etc.
I agree with Heron - looks to have been a tidy up. Dismal weather - it's not much different down here, rain overnight dull cloudy grey sky. Two juvenile collard doves have taken to camping out mournfully, on my patio wall (obviously taking a leaf out of Heron' s book).
