Good Morning all,
Yesterday had some interesting goings on. Delivery in the morning and a delivery in the early evening which resulted in an eventual takeover by the chick who lost out when EJ delivered round about 5pm This chick then kept eyeing his sibling up and eventually grasped the fish that was left and flew off with it., leaving the first winner of the fish contest to wonder what had happened. It was all very amusing and also a privelege to watch what can go on between siblings in the wild.
The evening ended with the usual ENS
Over to the early morning shift and keep those anecdotes and scintillating commentaries coming for us over here as we love to catch up in the mornings, of what has been going on early morning. BTW what absolutely gorgeous photos of the early morning at LG yesterday. Congrats to those that posted, really atmospheric.
Over to you!!!

Looked a large fish, but I missed who delivered it as I was rabbitting on on Weekly thread. One GEM has now taken charge & the other is missing out...
Well done Cirrus, but don't be late for work......
Thanks Cirrus. Middle deserves some fish now. Titch had earlier one and will, no doubt, get some of this one.
I presume that was Middle, who just flew off the nest with the fish ?
Good evening all just a quick look in and thanks for the commentary and fish report. Hoping I have got things right in that both Odin and EJ still around and the two GEM's and that they have both eaten. I feel that there will not be any further fish tonight with that gale that is blowing at LG. Loved your comments Heron77.
Hope the nest is not going to get blown down, it has been windy in the past but this is something else. Hope they all find some shelter tonight. Sitting watching the GEM and he is rocking about in the wind. The sun is still shining and one GEM sitting quietly at the moment. It would seem the eldest has probably left but he has certainly done the right thing and avoided this weather hopefully. GEM just started calling again, wish he would go and find a bit of shelter somewhere, really worrying me standing right on the edge. Have a good evening all and fingers crossed the nest does not come to any harm.

Think I can hear another GEM nearby. The one on the nest is going to need one of my Fishermens Friend the way it is carrying on.
OH doing the usual weekly shop so will log off now and won't be able to get on until Sunday now, unless I can manufacture a bit of spare time in the morning.
Goodnight all and thanks for all the super chat and pics throughout the day.
This sure is a fine looking osprey:
Chick just landed at 9pm but could hardly stay on the nest with those gales and has just flown off.
If nothing goes right, go left! :-)
Oh my gosh! Even the nest is moving! Makes me feel sea/air sick lol
