Good Morning all,
Yesterday had some interesting goings on. Delivery in the morning and a delivery in the early evening which resulted in an eventual takeover by the chick who lost out when EJ delivered round about 5pm This chick then kept eyeing his sibling up and eventually grasped the fish that was left and flew off with it., leaving the first winner of the fish contest to wonder what had happened. It was all very amusing and also a privelege to watch what can go on between siblings in the wild.
The evening ended with the usual ENS
Over to the early morning shift and keep those anecdotes and scintillating commentaries coming for us over here as we love to catch up in the mornings, of what has been going on early morning. BTW what absolutely gorgeous photos of the early morning at LG yesterday. Congrats to those that posted, really atmospheric.
Over to you!!!

Well Quackers, or otherwise, has begun to shriek again.
Oh, I can't take the credti for ''Quackers'' Lynette - it was Sheila that first observed she sounded like a duck from time to time. Hoarse from all the shrieking maybe :)
Sorry Margo, I knew what you said and still wrote the wrong bird. I will have a lie down!
Good afternoon all and the usual wake up call from a GEM who really wants a fish I think. Thanks to BrendaH, Djoans, Cirrus and Lynette for the pics. Also to Heron for that lovely photo of a bluetit on the maple tree.
Cirrus can't see any mention of Odin so far today.
Looing at the weather forecast LG are in for some truly horrendous winds tonight. 70 milez per hour, so GEM's still here and EJ and Odin (if he is still here) had better hang on tight. It already sounds very windy now.
Margobird
GEM back and still shouting, someone come with a fish please.
Wow that wind is fierce. I saw on the forecast that they are expected to reach 80mph in the Western Isles. Middle is back on nest.
LOL Brenda H no worries.
GEM still on nest but quiet for the moment but a touch of bad hair day now with that wind.
Poor Middle
Anyone seen Youngest today??
Thanks for info on Odin Margo
You have to feel sorry for him/her, such a sad pic and being blown around in that ever increasing wind.
