Hi folk,
It was a mixed day yesterday. Fish delivery I think in the morning but not sure whether there were more during the day. Two juves kept coming and going and Odin visited at least twice during the course of the day - once , eyeing up the fish the youngster had. Did his usual housekeeping and kept everyone amused with his antics.
We know that EJ and Odin were around yesterday, and the two juves are believed to be Titch and Middle but no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
Over to the night/early morning shift and keep us amused with your lovely commentaries and occasional pics.
I'm off to bed, see everyone in the morning.

Thanks CloeB for the footage was able to take some pics. One noisy juve has arrived on the nest and having a look round, Taking in the scenery and has now flown off but calling from nearbye
Thanks for the pic Lynette not such a lot of action today, but at least we have seen ospreys.
Thought I would put this here and I know it is the wrong blog but the Loch of tthe Lowes blog is very quiet. It is a poem written by Nick and just check out the title, so clever. It is a very touching poem.
“NESTALGIA”
THE Loch, THE tree, The empty nestThe memories of what’s beenA myriad of imagesOf all that we have seen
The meeting, and the courtshipFor Lady and her new boyWho, tho’ he started haplessly,Went on to bring such joy
Two brand new chicks they hatched here(Alas there was no third)The perfect start to family lifeFor our Lady and her Laird
A near fatal illness,Our dear Lady in such strifeThen a sip of magic waterThat restored her precious life
Two wonderful new ospreysMore “new kids on the block”Have secured our Lady’s legacyAt this mystic, magic, Loch
And now the nest lies empty,Dishevelled, and forlorn,But this story doesn’t end hereSo let not your hearts be torn
For our Lady’s spirit lingersIt’s tangible, and clearAnd she’s whispered in the treetopsThat she’ll be back again next year
Margobird
That is a lovely poem Margo. Thank you for putting it on here. I can still hear chattering going on off-camera, well a monologue really.

There's a wonderful lot of conversation going on at the moment - a pause just now but it was really lovely - definitely Osprey language.
Margo - I have not heard of Nick before -- the poem Is outstanding - thank you for copying it here.
Gone very quiet again now suppose the GEM's are well fed at the moment. No it is not quiet that GEM has just arrived back.
Sitting here somewhat bemused by the weather forecast we had for this afternoon which said heavy and prolonged rain. The sun is out and lots of fair weather cloud. Pleased really though it is the Bournemouth Air Festival for the next 3 days and they have displays going on at dusk which OH will hopefully be able to see now. Seen lots of different planes about and Red Arrows have just passed through.
Lovely conversation going on - Middle juve has returned to the nest but the conversationalist if 'off'' somewhere.
Hi Cirrus Nick has written a few poems now on the Loch of the Lowes blog, all of them guaranteed to make you tearful.
GEM stil on the edge of the nest very quiet for a change.
Margo - WHO is NIck please???
