Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the great posts, pics, videos etc on yestarday's Daily Update. Seems like it was a momentous day at LG on Monday. Perhaps EJ has set off on another migration to Africa. If so her last appeance on the LG nest in 2010 was something to behold. It was almost as if she was saying: "See you later." to the magnificant Odin, and perhaps even us viewers. She deserves to play to the camera though. She's an absolute star. Can't wait to see her next spring.Rain falling at LG now. Who knows what dramas today will hold.
I'm starting to feel tired, so I'll fly off to roost.
Paul.

Hi Cirrus - yes its eerily quiet! I had got used to seeing a GEM eating breakfast every morning when I logged on.I hope you enjoy your day with Quietwoman!

I came on to such a quiet nest, I went off to get my breakfast.....
See EJ is still around, even though mentally I had visions of her winging her way south with a determined look in her eye.
Yes, thanks Joan - it will be interesting won't it? Couldn't possibly let an opportunity to meet a fellow Osprey blogger slip.
'morning to you Lindy.
It's a dreich day down here as well but not raining.
Damp & dull here, and it rained in the night again :-( Can still hear dripping at LG so a damp nest as well as a rather empty one....
Morning All. Thanks for all earlier pictures and reports. Light rain here this morning. Looked in earlier to an empty nest and still a wet looking deserted nest now.
Morning, all. Our rain passed over during the night - very heavy during the evening. We now have sunshine. hope it's heading for LG. I really thought yesterday that the Famous Five had left en masse (a kind of family holiday?) but it's good to know we'll get more glimpses before the inevitable happens.
'morning Brenda. My cam sound keeps 'popping' - hope the cam isn't about to go down.
Hello to you Patriciat :)
Osp noises 'off' Let's face it, they must be keeping dry elsewhere
Morning all and thanks for all the earlier reports and pic. Great news that EJ is still around. Just heard that all 3 juves are still around at Caerlaverock although the female has been gone for some time now. The male is still bringing in plenty of flounders.
I was just thinking, the LG centre will be closing in a couple of weeks and we will have a camera only on the bird feeders. That thought does depress me.
