Hi everyone.
Thanks for all the great posts, pics, videos etc on yestarday's Daily Update. Seems like it was a momentous day at LG on Monday. Perhaps EJ has set off on another migration to Africa. If so her last appeance on the LG nest in 2010 was something to behold. It was almost as if she was saying: "See you later." to the magnificant Odin, and perhaps even us viewers. She deserves to play to the camera though. She's an absolute star. Can't wait to see her next spring.Rain falling at LG now. Who knows what dramas today will hold.
I'm starting to feel tired, so I'll fly off to roost.

Good for you, AQ. Yes you can. And meantime there is still the hope Odin will put in an appearance (although, he will now know EJ has gone - if she has, as I believe- ) and the youngsters will take time to register that all is not the same in their comfortable world.
There is a youngster about, I hear him call from time to time but nobody on the nest. I suspect it's Eldest since he has already put in an appearance. I do hope Staff mention the kids today in the blog, like they do sometimes. It's a critial time :)
FISH DELIVERY by EJ. GEM & EJ fly in together, exchange & she departs. Fish still flapping.
It's Eldest's fish
GEM not impressed - head is still on!!! Now takes a bite between squawks. LOL
He's flown with the fish. ENS
ENS still. It has been a quiet afternoon (so why haven't I done more data entry?) and now it is time to "knock off" and head to kitchen to put on my cook's hat. Bye.
Morning all ... thansk for nest reports .... and the news that EJ is still around and eldest GEM !! Empty, soggy nest at the moment with rain dripping on the microphone :-(
