That one of the gull staring at me seems to be most people's favourite - I really like it as well as it shows how much attitude these gulls have, and how expressive they are.
Sadly we don't have pelicans here, though occasionally a Dalmatian pelican will show up in the far south-west. I'd love to see one.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
