Hi everybody,.
Its been a mixed day at LG. Weather has been awefull at times but our intrepid GEM's have lived up to their names. Not sure how many fish were delivered one way or another but it seems the juves were well fed during the day.
Many, many thanks to the overnight/ early morning folk who update us with amusing running commentaries on what has been happening.
Looking forward to another day watchin - there won't be many more - before too long our LG ospreys will be winging their way south to sunny Africa. I'll leave you with the ENS pic. See you all in the morning. As you may already have heard, it is official that Lady has left on her migration to Africa.

I had another window open and could see part of the LG image; all of a sudden all heck let loose but missed the beginning bit. EJ with no fish? Hmmm. Someone at the rear - #2? - is just finishing of that tiny fish. Oh. Remaining chick has flown off now.
Annette read my post above yours. EJ was defending Titch and the nest.
Titch is the chick doing the fishing. :))
Oh poor Titch all he got was a left over fish for his efforts. The small fresh fish would have been tastier
I guess he can go and get another one . Hopefully he eats the next one in a tree.

Barbara Jean: Thanks - what a flap! In more ways than one. Nest is quiet now, so I'm off to bed.
Take care all

Wait until the day crew reads this saga LOL
At least we have identified the chick that is doing the fishing
I think it was you, Barbara Jean, who's been doing the identifying! :-)
Annette and Barbara Jean: Good that you were able to indentify #3 as the fishcatcher this morning, well done! Also I see on the main blog that Debbie is following up the suggestion about checking for video of Monday and Tuesday at the times specified for the earlier fishings. Facebook followers may have reported some info, but I do not know about that.

Let us know if Titch brings any more fish to the nest
Nite
Morning all - thanks for the entertaining ... and informative ... overnight/early morning posts! Wow .... what a lot happened on the nest all at once! Looks like they have all had some breakfast ... empty nest now, but I did hear someone shrieking in the background when I logged on. So .... Titch has been fishing :-))

Whoa! Dramatic goings on this morning - thanks to the Night Crew for the great posts.
Empty Nest at present, no wind or rain (yet) at LG.
I'm off out for the day, so sorry not able to contribute :-( - have a good day watching, everyone.
GEM flies onto the nest and EJ flies in with a small whale!
