HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful and healthy week. Not much summer left now.
Here's a photo--taken by Indiana's official state photographer--showing one of our Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds.
Also, I found out that my hometown area (which is about an hour north of where I live now) has a breeding pair of Mississippi Kites. These aerial raptors normally reside in the deep south, and Indiana has only a few pair in the entire state. Click the arrows to see all three photos if you're interested. Take care and be strong, all.

Yes, I saw some of the FBook reports. The nest is as usual for ospreys, on a very tall tree indeed and with little protection from the weather: they think that all the occupants sheltered in nearby trees. Thank goodness they're no longer tiny chicks!
The heather is just coming out now, on the hills here. The bit of white is some sheeps wool which has got caught.
My OH and Bonnie setting off down the trail.
Blue skies mixed with clouds.
Coming back down to sea level, the roads had water running down them because of all the accumulated rain from last night. Lovely scenery laid out before us, all the way to the sea on the other side of the peninsula.
A Welsh chapel for AQ!! We think its now been converted into a dwelling.
Beautiful Welsh scenery, complete with the sight & sound of sheep!
