Hi all,
Its was a day of action again, stealing of fish from EJ and Odin, Odin trying to get fish off EJ, GEMs trying to get in on the act, its was all happening yesterday.
We learnt that one youngster had fished for himself and indeed two might have learnt for themselves but that is not confirmed.
Will today see more action or will it be a quiet day. Thanks to all who open up the posts in the middle of our night and keep us going so we know what has been happening. Even in the wee small hours when most of us here are in our beds you let us know whats been happening.
There were some fantastic pictures yesterday - keep it up team - we love them and can't have enough of them.
This is the nest at 12.16am. Over to the night shift.

Empty nest now ... I must go and do things now ... probably won't be much action until later!

I have to go out now until mid afternoon at least - Happy Watching, All.
Good morning all and thanks for all the pics and especially Barbara Jean's commentary, just fabulous. Pleased to read they are all well fed. Thanks to Alan for the video too. EJ and Odin fattening them up for the journey ahead. The GEM's still like Mum to feed them sometimes. Love the pic Joan took of the Ospreyteers definitely one to keep. Lynette the capture of the nest empy in the moonlight is rather poignant. ENS for me as I have not seen a single osprey this morning.
Off topic but I am sad now it seems Lady has left. Fly high Lady, be proud for all you have done to increase the osprey population, and most of all safe journey.
Margobird
morning all.
Thanks for all the fabulous captures and commentary. It's so funny for me to log on and read back:) Love the pics of EJ feeding the chicks and thanks Alan, for that clip. I've saved that as well , for the long winter months..
NO action at all in the 45 minutes I;ve been logged on, not even a call:(
Look forward to seeing the clip later, Alan. Missed the delivery but have a video of feeding etc to take snaps from.
Just a footnote - looking at LOTL this morning, official blog says Lady has not been seen since 10am yesterday and they are waiting till today is out before officially reporting that she is probably on her way. A fine specimen of a bird, full of tenacity and endurance and came through despite all the odds against her. With the Scottish weather not being very kind lately she deserves a vacation in sunny Africa - God speed Lady, may you arrive safely.
Sorry, digressing, but I don't know how many of you are following her or know of the situation.
ENS - back later in afternoon - doing cricket teas for youth side visiting the village.
