Hi folks, not a lot has happened yesterday.. There was some acitivity in the morning and very little in the afternoon/evening unless I missed anything.
Are they perhaps getting ready for migration. We non't see the GEM's on the nest quite so frequently now, could they be fishing themselves or are EJ and Odin dropping fish into trees as was suggested yesterday, for them to pick up. This is a part of the ospreys life that we don't know much about but what a preveledge to watch them through all these weeks growing up. I'm prattling on just for something to say. I'll hand over tothe night staff and leave you with a poinant reminder of the nest. -- DESSERTED!!

Middle one is still eating, and another juve comes onto the nest and as quick as I snap it , it is off again, taking a piece of fish with it.
You can definitely see the difference between Middle and the one who came onto the nest but not sure whether it is Eldest (I think it is) or Titch.
Thanks Djoan S and good afternoon. Guess what I missed Odin delivering. The food I put out for the birds got soaked and the suet pellets go mushy so went out to change it for them. Am I mad or what.
Margobird
Chick now doing housework and moving Odin's stick. Doesn't know what to get up to next bless him/her.
Decided now and is having a bit of a rest.

It was Youngest (Titch) Lynette, quite right :)
Been doing other things , came back, and Middle has flown.
Probably be quiet now till evening - but no - I think it is Eldest back and decided to move the large stick that Odin brought in this morning., and then decides to have a sit down. All that hard work flying around.
Lovely pics here Lynette. I need a different angle on the head to determine whether this is Middle or Youngest, but it's not Eldest . I'll go meanwhile with Middle .
EDITat least we are getting Osps on the nest this afternoon !!!!!! :)
Got it - it's MIddle juve
OK youngster has flown the coop and I'm off to sweep up all the seed husks from my patio steps. Later .....
