Hi folks, not a lot has happened yesterday.. There was some acitivity in the morning and very little in the afternoon/evening unless I missed anything.
Are they perhaps getting ready for migration. We non't see the GEM's on the nest quite so frequently now, could they be fishing themselves or are EJ and Odin dropping fish into trees as was suggested yesterday, for them to pick up. This is a part of the ospreys life that we don't know much about but what a preveledge to watch them through all these weeks growing up. I'm prattling on just for something to say. I'll hand over tothe night staff and leave you with a poinant reminder of the nest. -- DESSERTED!!

FISH delivery from Odin
Middle still on the nest grabs it gleefully.
That must make you happier Jane:)
Odin deliveres a fish and Middle one claims it for himself/herself. Snatched it from him and he was off straight away.
Somebody delivered a fish ... think it was Odin judging by the size! Fish tail has been abandoned in favour of the fresh fish!

Yep, that's an affirmative Gary. Was busy preparing my meal to eat before going to work so didn't see its arrival but gratefully receive all the pics of it :) Thanks Lynette, Joan
Hi Gary I am a member of that club too. Always getting it wrong but know someone here will sort them out for me. Seen quite a lot of ospreys this afternoon and Middle juve is still eating as I type.

Great captures Joan and Lynette. I hit the "record" button but Odin was in and out in a flash!

Hi Margobird, I've given up trying now and enjoy being told by those that know:) lol
Hi - - I knew that a lot had been happening, as I've been on the phone in another room but could hear such a RACKET going on!!!
Intruders, airplanes and fish - all three!!! Did laugh so much at the pics of the two gazing upward at the plane flying over!!! Great stuff Lynette!!
(Glad to hear you've at last had some rain, margo!!)
Me too gary even with all the identification tips given I am worse than useless. By the time I read the indentification tips they ospreys have gone an I can't remember what I have just read. Getting older is a real trial at times.
Someone has found a bit of fish and is eating it on the far side of the nest.
