The three juveniles are thriving under Mrs G and Aran's continued care, proving once again what formidable parents they are. Long may the season continue to be be hassle-free as it nears the time for migration
Thank you for the update, MIKE, and the link to Birdie's summaries (which I've bookmarked, probably not for the first time ;) )
I notice that the link opens on my birthday in 2016 and that the DU thread for that day didn't require us to "Like" the posts, I can never quite fix how the practice came to be adopted and for it almost to be an offence not to click on the Like
We just had a Great Tit(?) fuzzily and briefly on the fence and then a Great Spotted Woodpecker on the perch, I shall attend to them pronto
IMAGICAT
In the meantime - Aran?
It was a Blue Tit that was fuzzy, the Great Tit was OK but not zoomed on. However, more importantly:
Great Tit, Blue Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, the last 2 all too briefly:
Aran and cows. He's been having a jolly good preen.
Was just browsing and found this on the "Operation Jimmy" site Unbelieveable Jimmy's tragic accident was 5 years ago
MARY Note Hiraeth Moor Did you already know of it? I also found a small image od Hiraeth Cottage which, evidently, s close to where poor Jimmy died

I don't know anything about Jimmy, PATILY, must have had my head buried somewhere outside of Wales at the time - I did go a couple of years without covering Dyfi hardly at all.
.
I did a video of extracts from Aran's long stay in the far-off tree but it doesn't cover him leaving - assuming that the cam waited until he left. (I remember Pont Croesor in connection with 5F, rightly or wrongly.)
Aran did as much stretching and preening as standing still, for hours on end
(EDIT @ 22:06 - I see a Poole Harbour video here instead of Aran Now corrected.)
I'll have another check after a big nap, SYAL :)
The cam did Scylla about - 1.20 sometlhing Electrocuted Sylla. ******* power lines
What an exciting wee video Scylla !!! many thanks.
