The three juveniles are thriving under Mrs G and Aran's continued care, proving once again what formidable parents they are. Long may the season continue to be be hassle-free as it nears the time for migration
Down again according to me...
Heather says: I think it is the transmitter dishes for the internet. Every time they go out of alignment the link goes down.
IMAGICAT
21 August
I noticed first thing in the morning that the cam was freezing occasionally.
I'll see how I go along...
06:15 KC3 and ANO with rain-smudged ring came for a couple of minutes only. Then the rain eased off.
07:55 KC3 was back:
KC3 got a brown trout, KC4 went and waited on the perch:
A queue formed:
Drag n drop has stopped working so I'm posting this, see if it gets fixed.
KC2 popped in with feet spread to keep her balance in the wind:
Back again, got half a FLOUNDER from Aran and flew off with it:
MrsG came and ate a scrap and left:
KC3 paid a fruitless visit and left.
A Raven picked up something MrsG had missed.
KC3 shifted his log and left:
Lots of mini buffers for some time.
KC3 again, he waited until 15:30:
Back again @ 15:52 - there must be a fish out there, surely... He flew @ 16:00.
Back again @ 17:00, got caught in a big buffer @ 17:14...
He was still on the nest when KC2 arrived on the perch @ 18:24... she only stayed a couple of minutes.
18:47 KC3 flew to the perch and away, back on the nest to get a headless FISH from Aran @ 18:53:
Big freeze, when my cam came back KC2 was on night-nest, she flew @ 19:39:
The cam is down, it never switched over to mono.
Haven't seen KC4 since she took over KC3's fish this morning.
The last messages I can find are on Facebook and Twitter, both posted 17 hours ago.
Edit - don't bother with this link, the cam went down again.
Hang on !!!
I seem to have got a LIVE CAM.
Oh, and I forgot to report...
ENS
We were just in time to see KC3 get a nice brown trout @ 14:23 - here, he's on the point of flying with it:
Thank you MC. Need to use the new YouTube link. Click on Scylla's link......... and save to any shortcut. All three chicks have been seen in the last few minutes, KC 4 on the perch. Chat says Arran has delivered a fish.
EDIT. As MC's capture confirms!
