He doesn't know whether to sit or stand - at present in standing mode looking arround - now he's sitting again,. and he's up again.

HiOnce again thanks for all the posts and pics. Great to see what's been happening through the morning and early afternoon. I sometimes get the feeling that Odin sometimes gets bored because he's the sort of Osprey that likes to be busy. I reckon that as the season draws to its close, we'll see more of Odin arranging nest furniture. Also the working with big branches probably means that Odin can assert some sort of authority on his brood. The thinking being: "Okay so you can nearly take my foot off when I deliver a fish but can you carry and position a branch as big as this?"My best wishes to everyone. I'm glad you're feeling a bit better now margobird. I honestly think dry toast is one of the best things in life when you've been unwell. Can't beat it with a cup of tea, no milk, no sugar, custard cream optional.I was sorry to hear about your harvest, Quietwoman. I really hope your next harvest goes very well. Some insistant calling from off the nest. Just had an idea for quiet ENS moments :-) Why not make speculative posts. Such as: "Odin has just told the GEMs 'whoever gets to the nest first, get first go at the fish. And for goodness sake please try not to take my foot off."Back to reality. GEM just flew off. Now calling from close by.Sorry about the long ramble.Paul
He's now flown onto the cam post and is shrieking away.He didn't know whether to sit or stand.
taking off to the cam post.
Like the bit about speculative posts for ENs, Paul. I'm not that good at it but there are plenty on this site that are.!!!!!!!!
Have to go and get dinner ready, back later to catch up. ENS.
The 'invisible' noisy chick has appeared on the nest again.
Two on the nest now, with a ' lookout' third answering from afar.
OK if there is going to be a fish, it will be shortly, as I must go and serve up our dinner.
EN again !
Just looked in as I' ve received a card from WWF regarding the endangered tiger. They want as many people as possible to sign a petition regarding a Heads of Government Tiger Summit in Sentember. Anyone interested see: www.wwf.org.uk/tigers. I'm supposed to be retired!!!
I've signed the petition QW :) EN currently but I hear chirps now and again.
