.A hasty start to the new month, to get something done in BIRDIE's forced absence and before the possible/probable FIRST OF THE MONTH FREEZE (and I've already got freezing probs here!).
When Birdie is back in she may give me her comprehensive version to insert here :)
Parents and chicks are all doing well, with no real upsets so far.

Ohhh! None of us have posted all day Our poor babies
KC4 caught my eye during the day so I did a stop/restart on the timelined recording, so's to find it easily later.
Dear little lamb was all alone for a long time:
But was undaunted:
20:19 flounder for supper, I can't stop now to ascertain who got what when, but it looks as tho there was plenty to go around:
Definitely KC3, I used the magnifier a few frames either side:
MrsG came and fed that flounder to at least one of the chicks.
KC4 has spent the night alone on the nest, no-one has joined her at this time.

.
There was a flyaround by an unknown bird and then KC2 flew in to the perch with a thick stick! I don't know where s/he got it, may have been from the nest of course.
patily said:Alone on the nest Was doing some really strong flapping

A shortie showing 3 birds in the sky, one getting bonked? Half speed.
