As the season progresses, Laddie (LM12) continues to make occasional visits to the empty webcam nest, defending his area from passing intruders. It is hoped that both he and NC0 have a successful nest in the vicinity of the Loch.

Updates:
21st July - NC0 made an appearance on the nest, her first visit since 19th April
24th July - NC0, confirmed ring identification during a second visit to the nest
10th August - Laddie's last appearance on the webcam nest > Here and Video by Scylla
20th August - One chick for Laddie (LM12) and NC0 > successful-first-season-for-loch-of-the-lowes-ospreys

Wasn't the Osprey flying up the inlet Scylla. It is hard to show perspective really as the webcam seems to make everything look closer.
I took this photo at Lowes in 2014 which has been shown before but is always a nice reminder of where everything is. It was the last time I seen Lady flying across the loch in front of the hide, a memory that will stay with me forever.
The inlet doesn't show well in this photo but just showing where it is.
The frustration nest is somewhere in that area, not to say that Laddie and NC0 have not built a new nest, but as all the flying captures does seem to be up that inlet I would think that is where they have raised their single chick this season. I must say that the frustration nest isn't exactly jumping out at you but is visible through a scope, then this photo was taken back in 2015 so who is to say that its not been blown down by now, as the last time I visited Lowes was in 2016.

Ah well, see, my little brain has a fixed vision of them flying away from the dead tree to our right :-/ Selective memory?
Thank you for all that, MARY - I have saved your pics in the past and have now saved them again in LOTL's 2020 folder.
IMAGICAT
I hadn't done any of the day since nightcam! And look what I found! I didn't pre-plan it, honest!
About 16:00 - I never found it arriving, possibly because that occurred between 6-hour clips, when I lose 10-15 minutes :(
I did have a look thru the evening but it was quite windy and rainy so I was quite careless.
Well captured Scylla decided to do a wee fly around before coming back to the tree....

I should put notes on those vids, MARY, as I take great liberties and chop out time without indicating how long, but I want to avoid having to put them into MovieMaker, another stage before I can go to sleep - it was quite a while before the osp flew back.
GREAT NEWS CONFIRMATION FROM LOWES THAT PH2 (2017) CHICK HAS BEEN SEEN AT ESTHWAITE
18:20 A brief visit to the nest...

We had a very low-key visit from a Tawny Owl at midnight - no sibling :( It was on 'n off for over 2 minutes but I took out the spaces.
