HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a wonderful, safe, healthy week!
Once, Bonnie would have jumped into the water, but she's learned that she can't catch water birds, now.
What's that dog doing, chaps?!
It's a pleasant walk around the little lake. Swans nest on a small island in the middle.
Church services back tomorrow with max of 75. We have to book (I have) as some times normally have more than 75 and some less. We have to sign in, sanitize, social distance, etc, etc.
I had a phone chat with Travel-Friend, we agree that bus trips are a not safe. Perhaps if others feel the same, they could be rescheduled.
Last night’s news had an item on Dame Vera. Something about her voice always brings tears to my eyes. In a good way I add.
Just a thought Time sometimes flies like a bird, sometimes crawls like a snail; but a man is happiest when he does not even notice whether it passes swiftly or slowly. (Ivan Turgenev)
Happy June Solstice!
Happy Summer Solstice to those in the U.K. and U.S. and Happy Winter Solstice to AQ in Australia!
The Solstice occurs:
20 June (Saturday) 10:43 p.m. in the U.K. (If you want the seconds added to the time, it's 10:43:32.)20 June (Saturday) 5:43 p.m. in Indiana
20 June (Saturday) 4:43 p.m. in Iowa
20 June (Saturday) 2:43 p.m. in California
21 June (Sunday) 7:13 a.m. in Adelaide, Australia
There will be an Annular "Ring of Fire" Solar Eclipse on Saturday night or Sunday (depending on your location). Unfortunately, I don't think it's visible in either North America or in the U.K. I think there's a partial eclipse that can be seen in northern Australia. You can watch a free livestream of the Solar Eclipse HERE (Slooh on YouTube) and HERE (Time and Date website)
You can find your times for the Solar Eclipse (beginning, maximum, end) HERE

That's good DIANE. With sunrise late, I've been sleeping in. (Not as late as late March with Daylight Saving). I shall have to set my alarm tomorrow morn for church!
