Is anyone having problem with the cam right now?
Ah - ok. It's me. Cam is fine; nest is empty.
Nest still empty.
EJ arrived with a lively whale. Geez. Here comes polite chick followed by piggy chick who immediately grabs the fish and mantles over it. EJ doesn't want to deal with this and leaves. Hee -hee - the fish is still flapping and polite chick senses a chance to grab it - but no luck. Oops. Piggy chick with fish is almost off sreen and now the second chick is challenging, but getting rebuffed. Fish is still twitching and every time it moves, polite chick tries again. Hmm. Has now given up and pecking about on the other side of the nest.
Oh my. Odin comes in with tiny-ish fish and is followed by a third chick who immediately grabs it and mantles. Odin leaves, looks a bit startled at the lack of manners. Our polite chick is still pecking about - maybe has found something old to chew on?
Well they all seem to be eating something so I'm going to sign off. Happy viewing all.
EJ just arrived with a fish and is calling the brood to breakfast .
Two have arrived and one( looks like Eldest) took the fish. The fish is alive and flopping The other juve (Titch) is watching and now trying to hold down the tail while Eldest kills it . They are not a great team. Eldest is afraid Titch will pinch the fish and if Eldest doesn't get help with that fish will go overboard !! It is flopping near the edge of the nest .
Guess he finally killed it. Titch found a left over scrap and is eating that
EJ left.
Here is Odin!. He literally dropped a fish and flew off. I think Cirrus is onto something when she wondered if Odin is overwhelmed by the aggressiveness of this brood.
It looks like Middle got Odin's fish. . So everyone has something to eat, but Titch has a small left over.

EJ and Odin arrive with fish just minutes of each other . I still wonder if they go fishing together.
It seems quite a coincidence that they arrive so often together with a fish
Maybe EJ tells Odin : "Look I'll bring mine first and distract them, so you can land with your's and get out of there in one piece ! Eldest is the most aggressive and he will take my fish"
I think it was Middle who left and now Titch is finishing that fish. I was typing so I can't be certain.
Middle ate most of it.
There are two birds on the nest and both are eating.
I left the computer and while I was gone EJ must have delivered another whopper. Titch has it. He is squealing at it.
Eldest is still eating the first whale and struggling with the tough skin. Now Eldest gave up in the fish and flew off. There is a half fish laying on the nest. EJ or Odin may come to claim it.
I don't see Middle, but he had most of Odin's fish . All that was left for Titch was a little more than the tail
All have had a feast!!.
