Hi everyone.Nest empty at the moment. So not a lot happening on camera. Can't believe the time has peregrined to after 2am in these parts. So I'm away to roost. Catch you all later :-)

The nest is extremely quiet today. The last blog did say that the chicks are spending more time away from the nest area but it is so frustrating not knowing how far and where. We knew much more last year through the information LG were receiving through the sat. tags. before we could even see through Google Earth.

And we were watching on the other camera, Brenda. I don't suppose anybody knows why the camera hasn't been switched, do they?
Sandy : I have been wondering the same thing as it has not been mentioned on the main blog for some time. I recorded some great close ups last year of Mallachie and Garten when it was in use.
Watcher2, thanks for that great clip:)
Not much happening on the nest.
I did ask on the Facebook Page of the Center about the change of camera feed and this was the response on 24th July ."Gary, no idea yet. Waiting to hear back from the Tech guys."
Have to say, I feel we are getting less info than last year out here in cyberland. Don't mean to criticize as there have tons to do but..
nothing happening, back later

Bye Lynette it is very quiet today, the quietest day so far this year. We need a fish delivery that will fetch them back. Can't even hear them so they must have flown further from the nest.

Alan and Gary: I've checked back through last year's blogs and the other camera was up and running by 21st July at the latest. We did get some great views last year, but it looks increasingly as though there must be technical issues with it. Without any official news via the blogs all we can do is speculate as to the reasons why it hasn't been operative.
Empty nest BTW.
16.09 and sure i saw a fish come in but whoever it was has gone off with it now.
Odin with a fish ... but I think he took it away because I can't see it on the nest. I can hear young ones in the background and by the way Odin was chirruping I think he was followed by an intruder.
