Aila and Louis' first chick hatched on Friday 29 May. Perhaps we can expect number 2 and 3 to hatch on 1 and 4 June.
May brought lots of fish, clods, shag pile, sticks, osprey and owl intruders and fame to Aila and Louis, appearing on the BBC, Channel 4 and Chris Packham's Self Isolating Bird Club Live.

Time will tell Ian - we have to keep a watch on that developing - maybe its a male - we shall see!

16.53, I don't think Louis has been back for the fish, if he comes back for it he will be sorely disappointed. Aila has just finished eating and the piece of fish she has left is barely the size of her talons. If that is the last fish that was delivered then scoffing nearly all of it in not much more than half an hour is some achievement for Aila & the chicks. Louis definitely should eat the head of the next one. Ian
17.48, Louis brings in another nice whole fish. No-one is interested in it so he flies off with it. Aila must have read my previous post! Ian
What d'ya mean you don't want it!

19.47 Aila's acrobatics.. look at the beautiful plumage on Chick1!
I thought the chicks were getting pretty big, but it just shows the size of an adult Osprey when Aila is able to cover all 3 of them from the rain.
