The sadness of Monty's failure to return has been somewhat mitigated by Idris's almost seamless takeover as Telyn's partner.
They have 3 eggs:
Egg #1 ~ 17 April @ 05:58
Egg #2 ~ 20 April @ 01:40
Egg #3 ~ 22 April @ 22:56
Dyfi's usual ultra-wonderful coverage of the nest has been dimmed by (1) coronavirus restrictions and (2) laptop failure, a refurb has taken over. We are grateful for what we are getting, in the circumstances.

LIMPY's coverage of the first 4 days of the month commenced HERE.
IMAGICAT
It wasn't until daycam that we could see someone on the high perch - I suspect that's Idris and he may have spent the night there:
It's windy!
Thank You Scylla, that is a stunning opening photo of them both, I still can't quite believe we won't see Monty again at DYFI, to me he wasn't thought of as exceptionally old, but then age doesn't come into it really, they are at risk the very minute they fledge from the nest, so I guess we should never take for granted that any of them will be on our screens forever.
I don't think I can remember a year though when there were as many "big names" in the Osprey world not return. Monty, Lassie, White SS, 28(10), Delyth, BM Male - 2020 has certainly been a catastrophic year.

Thank you for the tragic summary, Mary :'(
But I didn't know about Blue28(10) and am devastated!
Thank you so much Scylla - a wonderful collage and informative egg pic
Only, please tell me that the 28 (10) male is't Wonky Wing
