Another top up and a fair bit of aggression from #1
#1 picking on younger ones
#4 is at the front and gets a piece of fish
11:09 all appear full and lying down
11:12 Maya stops feeding.
Video of 11:00 Feed & Chick #1 Dominance!
Appears that #1 is quite a dominant chick!!
Hopefully this is just it establishing the pecking order and it will cease soon once it knows the others are no threat for there is plenty of food.
More dominance from #1!

Maya starts feeding again and #1 seems to be behaving :-)

When I looked in the feed was in progress and 4 heads were bobbing about but they were pretty much in order going across the line with #1 on the L and litttle 'un on the R but then it went to sleep and so did #1 The youngest worked its way around and lay at the back of the group and at one stage #1 had a little preen of its back and #2 tried to use #1 as a pillow #1 #2 and #3 had a little shuffle and I left Maya feeding herself.

33 arrived with another stick
Plonked in the nest cup
33 quickly picked it up
and placed it side of the nest
He is off again!
And back again to reposition it!
And now a pose before he takes off again
The cot rails are getting higher :-D
Hi Sheila, yes it is not nice to see but as you say happens most years and hopefully it will sort itself out :-)
Meanwhile 33 arrives with another stick
I must leave for a bit now - SYL
.
Maya is up waiting on 33 arriving with a fish but he arrives empty taloned and wet - failed fish attempt
33 flies off - we should see a fish soon :-)
Meanwhile the chicks are getting themselves lined up - waiting
some more aggression
Short Video:
Unsure what kicked it off - I was outside, looked in and saw it!
