currently #4 is sitting this one out or perhaps has had some? :-D
the cam keeps freezing/going down also I am working so I'll just post some snaps of the chicks as and when. Sorry but best I can do as it is impossible to follow their actions.
12:07 Maya stands shading the chicks but one is admiring the view
Since my last post above, 33 appears to have been in with a fish!!
12:27 Fish left on the nest for Maya and the snoozing chicks
13:16 checking and see very little change at the nest - all enjoying the sunshine, a snooze and the fish has been covered a little
13:40 33 is in, has the fish and feeding the chicks.
Pity he is on the edge as we can't really see him.
#4 in front :-D
Interesting!! the chicks are standing on top of the other fish brought in early and covered in my last post
So it may well be that 33 has a fresh fish here??
13:44 33 continues feeding them
#4 has now moved away into Maya's shade - can clearly see the other fish
Maya looks more relaxed - she must now be getting used to 33 feeding them :-)
13:46 #4 still interested is waiting :-D Also there is another chick having a little flap
#4 reminding 33 its waiting!
#4 now wisely reserving its energy
