Hi Pat. I tend to make my white sauces with cornflour and never get a lumpy one. Talking of flour, heard on the news tonight that mills are working flat out to try and get more flour onto the shelves for folks as so much home baking is now taking place due to the stay at home policy.

Scylla - have that vid in my Y~Tube library. Its hillarious. Listen to it folks, it brightens any day.

This morn our Postie delivered a homemade Easter card from the Trio; in the shape of a bunny.

SRF had me puzzled but OH guessed it. I believe flour has been in short supply here. Who knows what people are doing with it – Dau was complaining how many people can’t cook these days. She mentioned someone who lives on Uber food. We still have a toilet paper shortage. Partly because it is being supplied in packs of 32. A lot of complaints from singles who would be happy with much less. Someone suggested that we return the empty rolls in order to purchase any more!

Heather - Glad your grass cutting man came. Someone has just been round cleaning gutters and fascia boards, which happens once a year. They are all gleaming white now. He is the same man who cleans our outside windows every four months. He did that a couple of weeks ago. The considerable run-down from the dirty gutters is now drying in the sunshine on the clean windows. Ho hum …

Don't think it was Mike's fault, Heather. These things are done on rolling contracts, so I guess the date was fixed sometime last year. But silly, yes!
