1st Egg Laid - 19.04.20 @ 17.59 - Hatched 26.05.20 @ 10.25 hrs

2nd Egg Laid - 22.04.20 @ 12.03 - Hatched 28.05.20 @ 0600 hrs

3rd Egg Laid - 25.04.20 @ 08.50 - Hatched 30.05.20 @ before 0700 hrs

ALL 3 CHICKS WERE RINGED ON 4TH JULY - ALL BELIEVED TO BE MALE - RING NUMBERS 550, 551 AND 552

    Rough snaps from today, not downsized so they'll probably be huge and blurry - and I haven't tied them in with comments - due to insufficiently alert brain cells.

    That was a fine fish:

    #3 pushed between the other two and got some bites.

    By the way, the sensible licheny stick on the left is one of 5-6??? which Dylan brought in the morning.

    Later it got well and truly pinned down, Dylan tried to feed it but didn't get anywhere (as far as I could see, FF-ing thru the jiggles):

    Seren brought this good stick - she was clumsy with it but the chicks survived:

    I reckon it was the tougher fish that Dylan took away, leaving the tenderer one for the kids Wink

    The cam was up before 07:00 this morning.  Seren has been preening sitting on her chicks, a dang nuisance for getting a nice snap of her lovely face:

    Fish at 11.13. Between 9.00 and 10.00 there was frenzied acquisition of sticks by both adults to provide higher cot rails. Some danger to the chicks of getting whacked on landings, but all seem OK.

    Another "human intruder" incident at LC this afternoon. A solitary male walked down the track past the nest around 15.05, and went back about 15 minutes later. Seren left the nest both times, for 4 minutes first time and 3 minutes second time. All looks calm now, if more than a bit damp.

    Perch at 17.33. Seren is really quick at feeding them, which allows less time for the to battle each other. It is some of the calmest feeding of chicks I have ever seen - very little sibling rivalry for now.

    Here's edited video, with sound enhanced so's to hear Seren's cries clearly - and incidentally we can also hear the chicks clucking ;)
