YW just flew in, stayed a minute or two and left again. B35 has been turning the eggs. Seems to have got a bit windy again.
Here he comes

B35 is extremely fidgety, she is constantly turning the eggs.

YW has just arrived, no fish. B35 has left, cam has zoomed in on the eggs, I can't see much.
YW arrived with a fish about 21.29
B35 flew off without the fish
The cam zoomed in on the eggs, and there looked to be some movement.
B35 was only gone a few minutes and she returned and settled on the eggs, leaving the fish at the edge of the nest.
Hatch is in progress I think, just saw some movement when she stood up
Yes little one is out!! Shell can be seen, and B35 has gone to the edge for some fish, lots of movement from the chick
Difficult to see now due to fading light, but chick can be seen lifting it's head up.
Hope Mary or Patily are around in the morning to get some decent captures of the chick
Great coverage of nest activity today Starling. Lovely to see the first hatch at FM - you can see the little head in your last pic despite the fading light.
Thank you Mary I have thoroughly enjoyed myself today LOL. It's actually the first chick I have seen hatching live for years, they usually like to arrive when I'm not around
Just now...
a chnage of guard and
one bobbly head xxx
2016: first time in history an Osprey nested in the NL. 2018: 2 active nests! 2019 a storm interferes. 2020: a third active nest in a tree!
Thank you Otter, what a lovely capture.
