Well, hello all, Wasn't able to be around at all yesterday as tied up with final day of Kids Summer Club and Concert. Fab week, but can now get back to serious osprey watching.
Seems it was a varied day with deliveries of fish and comings and goings of youngsters on the nest. Some fantastic shots by lots of you and have saved some for my portfolio. At present EJ is still on the nest as she was when I logged on about 11.30pm yesterday. Over to the night shift, happy viewing, see you in the morning.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
Just logged on again to an empty nest. See there has been a little activity this afternoon.
Like the pice DJoan S, and Lindybird. I expect most of the action will be towards the evening when Odin and EJ usually bring in supper. We will have to wait and see!!
I did wonder if Middle might be a girl , /if as you think, it is less assertive/aggresive than it siblings.
All is very quiet indeed - not even Radio Chaffinch these days, to chirp away in the background.
Agree with the previous posts, that the sexes of the juves are boy/girl/boy - originally I was adamant that they were two girls and Titch a boy, but now they have 'grown up' and #1 is so like Odin, both in appearance and his vocals, its beyond doubt I'm sure.... anyway, as someone else said, we shall never know now so can be smug in our own opinions!
The one sure thing is that they are three healthy well fed individuals with the genes of these amazing parents to take them through whatever lies ahead. A great prospect for the carrying on of those genes through the generations of ospreys to come, and for Osprey population figures in general. Well done, EJ & Odin!!
Can hear rain increasing on the microphone as I write...
Yikes, you are not wrong Lindy. Currently I hear what I think is Eldest making lound Chirps from the cam post and I heard Odin in the disance - may be an intruder about.
It seems to be pouring with rain and one youngster came in and landed on the cam post out of view.
As I hit 'POST' I could hear osprey calls very near, and can now hear odd noises off, think there is Someone on the camera post....
Hi Lynette & Cirrus - assume you do know that there is a new Official Blog??
Yes, thanks Lindy - I did catch tlhat
Rain still playing a musical tune on the microphone- no sign of any birds at all, and no calling either.
I was just going to come on and say that the rain has stopped, but I can still hear it, on and off....
Osprey voices nearby but none in evidence on camera view.
