Love the fish/chocolate analogy Valerie!!
I don't know if this tragic news from Brockholes has been posted anywhere else Edit - Alan Petrie posted the news among his list on 'Osprey Sightings' last night

Apparently, he was spooked by an 'individual', with a push bike, who was walking along the hard shoulder on the M6. 5Y's body and ring were collected. Devastating!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I read about this yesterday and was gutted. I had seen several photos of Green 5Y(06) taken at Brockholes over the past week or so. Craig Smith took some lovely ones.
Clearly the person concerned had no idea what he was walking past, which was illegal on so many accounts. The police were notified and photos passed on, from what I have read.
