  When the Centre was open it was a simple matter to let the staff know of any 'out of hours' events.
  We are now in a different situation but I'm sure we would all like to help.
  To that end I Emailed Abi this morning with details of the timing of Karen's video which I think we all regard as the time of laying. I offered to help in any way and this is Abi's response:-
  
  "It would help a great deal, if you are happy to, if you could continue to monitor the webcam, and let me know if/when another egg is laid etc please?
  If the members of the RSPB forum page have any clips/pics or if they've spotted something they would like to share, would it be okay if you are the point of contact between them and me please?"
  
  I have, of course, replied that I am happy to do so.
  In the knowledge that they are able to scroll back, and to avoid overwhelming them, I suggest we keep 'notifications' to only really significant events such as egg laying or, perish the thought, attacks.
  Our 'normal' posts should cover most things but timings are the real help in directing them to their recordings.
  Please feel free to comment/advise.

  There was an intruder around at approx 12:40.  33 flew off to give chase then returned to the nest.  Both 33 and Maya mantling.

  

  Threat passed after a minute.   

  12:43 Mating

  

  Maya flew off for a break leaving 33 in charge

  And a glimpse of the egg

  Intruder was around again when I unveiled a few minutes ago - but not long afterwards, they were mating ;)

  

  I'll look for a better snap, that was one o' my rare live ones ;)

  Threat again and 33 arrives mantling 

  

  passes quickly and 33 takes off leaving Maya preening.
