Morning all: I also couldn't access the site last evening....

Strange weather here, too: Sunshine this morning, then cloudy, then more sun - then it tried to snow but came out as sleet!

Yesterday I agreed with my OH that as sunshine was predicted for this morning, we would go for a walk to get some fresh air, but when it came to it, I couldn't face going out and have sat around all day. Made some lists, and looked at some old photographs. I have some from when Bonnie was a puppy which I must have meant to put in an album. She looked unbelievably tiny at only 4 weeks old, when we first saw her!

Annette, I seem to have joined you in doing Not Much!

LINDA - Funny you mention Bonnie - it occurred to me just yesterday that we haven't seen a photo of her for a long, long time!

Sorry about misty weather for some - we have it lovely to look at, but still cool. Predicted to be good the next two days! Not sure whether I shall go out for boring shopping with OH tomorrow - shall save myself for Garden Centre lunch on Wednesday!

Harelady - so pleased you had a lovely visit to see new Grand-daughter, hope you manage to find a holiday cottage big enough for you all, it will be great if you can all come together.

OG - talking of Communion, although I didn't make it yesterday, we have individual stainless steel cups at our church. Dau had to do some jobs like packing etc before she goes to cat sit for her brother on Thursday for 10 days. Not easy to do it during the day as she is working and has things on at night or is revising maths for an exam in June. Son and wife off to Barbados - love to be in those sunny climes at present, but we can't have it all.

Still waiting to hear when Ray's brother's funeral will be. He rang his wife today and they were seeing the funeral director today so hopefully we will know tomorrow but probably not until after the 15th March when our son is back. It seems a long time to wait but I know she would like all the family present if possible.

Just been catching up on the nest threads - not long now to the start of the season. Will we get an osprey nesting at LG this year??

Lindybird: Oh my - I remember when you guys were tearing your hair out over young Bonnie.  Glad you stuck with it!

OG: I suggest skipping boring shopping and opting for lunch out on Wednesday.

Lynette: Barbados sounds exotic.  Nobody ever went anywhere like that when I was a kid -  in our family it was Folkestone for two weeks every 'summer.'  Then people starting traveling to Europe and now it's Barbados, etc.  Can't blame them for chasing the sun though....

Got all the paint estimates in and now have to narrow down paint choices (First World problem and I do realize how lucky I am) then must schedule everything.  OH is already not happy with the upheaval, but we'd never get anything done around the house if I left it up to him.   He could do with a few of Lindybird's OH's genes, but I think I got them.....  :-)
