What an increasing number of sightings are being reported now. A lot will no doubt be females starting migration or disillusioned singletons, as well as juveniles finding their wings.
The reports of sightings at Scaling Dam/Scaling Reservoir in North Yorkshire include a one year old!! Blue KU5(19) sex not disclosed, ringed Achany, near Lairg on 04/07/2019, by Bob Swann. Its metal ring number was 1489197. Two siblings. It was reported by the Teesmouth Bird Club - I'm not a member, so I assume this is in the public domain.
