31 December 2019 !!! (One got waylaid when attempting to post on the 1st by this site's seize-up and local, ongoing tech probs.)
Some of the narrative has been lost in the interim ;)
Neglected Great Tits:
This GSW discarded the big prize and went for fast food instead:
Passers-by:
I've never seen the male pheasant up on the feeder, but as you know the female is a frequent feeder - here's a different view:
This will have been either the first or last of the day - I know it was both:
Poor mouse has a torn ear:
Czech pond
A rare close-up:
I'm whizzing thru from now on and may not have much to add.
Shortly after TEEJAY posted his kind New Year greeting I checked in and went to find WENDY's Robin (I've stolen several snaps from your videos, Wendy ;) ) so switched on the laptop where they're stored... and it wouldn't boot up! More problems :'(
Two mice - neither with a torn ear:
Little sweetie:
Little sweetie in colour:
Then, the instant the Great Tit landed, it turned and shouted and attacked it feet-first !!! :o
BTW, I haven't got sound any more, we used to hear the scrabbles etc.
This morning, this swan had a very long and vigorous ablute, most of which I've trimmed off (see how little water there is), then had some breakfast:
Just for the clarity of the Great Tit:
The birds make plenty of mess, obviously:
I haven't done the headings Pond/Feeder - oh well...
STUMP - I've seen 3-4 mice in the past 48 hours or so. This one today was quite desperate:
