Tufted Titmouse
This was a fuzzy flash-by, I can only think of American Goldfinch in one of its many stages:
Boreal Ontario
A subdued Western Meadowlark had the feeder to itself for several minutes:

Unknown said:Are you on your own for Christmas, Cirrus? Better safe than sorry as they say and you can still have Christmas, whether you are alone or not--heard today that we should all push the boat out and enjoy something we love, even if it is just having our favourite food, Christmasy or not--cauliflower cheese or the traditional works and anything in between! I've had a few Christmases on my own and was pleased to discover that it (and I) was fine. Wishing you and everyone here, lurkers and posters alike, all the best for Christmas and beyond into 2021. Bring on the vaccines--there is light at the end of the tunnel...
Yep, Gardenbirder, I'm on my own. . And d'you know what ( silly childish and totally illogical ... I get angry, very angry , every time I see Aldi's masked carrot , on the telly ad grrrrrrrrrr) I've had decades of Christmas on my own
Yesterday afternoon - mostly the seed-kickers
(1) Two Chickadees and I think the W Meadowlark is on the ground on the left;
(2) Rose-breasted or Red-breasted Nuthatch;
(3) Female Hairy/Downy Woodpecker - I didn't get a good enough view to decide which;
(4) Gray Jay and I think there's another on the ground on the left:
No idea if any of that will be clear, the snap may come out too small :-/
I just felt it bubbling up after you said ''Two chickadees' Scylla Rose breasted nuthatch - Female downy woodpecker - Two chickadees and a a Grey (gray) Jay on the ground left Can you hear the music ? Well, try harder Rose breasted nuthatch da da da da da and a ............. years ago one could buy chocolate boxes like that Scylla , with tassels to open the drawers. ) Thank you

What a sweet Blue Jay:
There were supposed to be 5 snaps in this collage but it just won't work and even with only 3 we can see the joins
This is one that got rejected:
I think that's the W Meadowlark out there again, it never came to the nest:
Apparently male and female Gray Jays are similar so we can't tell if this is a couple:
Harriet and M's 2 eggs on 21st:
No change in egg lineup by evening, here was M on night duty:
Either "my" or "the" internet has been shocking since yesterday evening, I'm taking a break.
M woke up Harriet in the early hours and managed to get about ONE minute's incubation time before she nosed him off:
Around breakfast time M took over so's H could have her preen and R&R. Looks like 2 eggs will be the quota this season.
The Minnesota cam focused on the ground overnight, the only critters seen were mice - or a single mouse - thru the evening, then the occasional rabbit and in the morning there were 3 together and more out of sight:
Back upstairs:
Ohio
A "golden-breasted" Northern Cardinal - I wonder where it falls in the spectrum?
Got a rabbit in daylight - just !!!
